Our Story

India's Lost Superdrink, Rediscovered.

For centuries, sattu fuelled farmers, wrestlers, and travellers across the subcontinent. Rosatu brings that ancient nourishment back — clean, convenient, and crafted for the way India lives today.

How It Began

Born in Bihar. Built for India.

Sattu is not a trend. In Bihar, it is a way of life — a daily ritual passed down through generations, consumed at dawn by farmers, labourers, and students alike. High in plant protein, cooling, naturally sustaining, and deeply rooted in the subcontinent's food culture.

Yet beyond its home state, sattu remained unknown to most of urban India — displaced by imported supplements and processed health drinks that cost more, delivered less, and carried none of the heritage.

Rosatu was born to fix that. To take something India had always owned and give it the platform, the packaging, and the pride it deserves.

The Founder

Building Rosatu as a Cultural Movement

Aadarsh Singh is a 2x founder with a track record of building brands from the ground up. Before Rosatu, he co-founded Firespeed Media — a creative marketing agency — and Uncrossed Bridges, bringing a cross-disciplinary approach to brand strategy and storytelling.

His career spans the film industry, creative marketing, and social media brand-building — giving him a rare ability to blend cultural insight with commercial clarity. It is this combination that defines how Rosatu is built: not just as a product, but as a movement.

The idea for Rosatu was deeply personal. Rooted in the native culture of Bihar, where sattu is consumed daily as a staple, Aadarsh recognised that what his home state had always known was exactly what modern India needed. Rosatu is his third brand — and his most purposeful one yet.
